New seating areas have been provided. Enjoy the beauty of the Quit Garden& Mural, flower pots, shade trees and
cool breeze.
Enjoy the far-off laughter of the children playing at the downtown park and the birds singing in the trees.
Enjoy the new rack-card that will guide you through downtown Wakarusa.
Enjoy the old fashioned streetlights, brick pavers, American flags and streetscapes with every step you take.
Enjoy meeting our friendly store owners and finding “more than you thought
you would”.
After you’ve enjoyed Downtown Wakarusa, drive or walk to the “Butterfly Garden” at Memorial Park behind Wakarusa Elementary School.
Enjoy this well marked perennial garden, a comfortable, peacful place to enjoy and commune with nature.
You can also enjoy a walk along the pedestrian path, a swing in the gazebo, and the mist of the splash park.
Enjoy the surrounding fields and the new War Memorial Garden.
