Park Information The Town of Wakarusa has two beautiful parks. The Downtown park features playground equipment for the kids, a great place to picnic and a town cabin that is available for rent. To rent the cabin at the park call the Clerk/Treasurer's office at 862-4314 for reservations. Memorial Park the 25 acre park includes an observation hill, pavalion, gazebo, splash pad for the kids water entertainment & playground equipment at the school adjacent to the park. Also for your enjoyment a nature garden is located across the walking path from the gazebo. It is handicap accessible with a walkway and benches. Enjoy three seasons of beauty from identifing hard and native plants, learn about our insects and wildlife, take time to enjoy our garden in the park.
